GMG’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Working Group aims to create a greater understanding of AI and its applications in mining and to promote increased openness to enable companies to safely adopt AI. It is a community of interest on the topic where operators, AI experts, and other mining stakeholders come together.
The group’s first project, Foundations for AI in Mining, is underway. This educational project will provide a unified understanding of the basics of AI and clarifies useful methods and applications.
Workshop participants will share knowledge, contribute to the ongoing project and contribute to the AI in Mining Roadmap.
This workshop takes place in Luleå, Sweden, just before our GMG Luleå Forum.
