The Student Tour is for bachelor and master students at Swedish universities from year two and up. The tour will be held in English. It is free of charge including transportation, hotels and meals.
Held this year on September 10-14 (the 10th and 14th are travel days). Student Tour ends with the event Mining@ORU September 14. The return trip is directly after the event.
Why organize a student Tour?
-Because you are important to us! Many different competences are needed if we are to meet the global goals and you can contribute to that.
So, what’s in it for me?
-We will take you to some of Sweden’s most beautiful places and show you the vast range of job opportunities available. Meet professional role models and be inspired for your future journey in the industry. You will get a closer look at what we do, at the issues we are trying to solve, and what your role could be in helping us do just that. It’ll be fun!
Planned route: Örebro-Västerås-Sala-Garpenberg-Stråssa-Zinkgruvan-Tiveden-Mining@ORU in Örebro
Overall theme: sustainability and innovation
This year’s focus areas: water, geology, enivironment, biodiversity, AI and VR.
There are a limited number of spots and there will be a selection process. It will partly be based on the applicant’s motivation for why they want to participate, but we will also strive for an even gender distribution and make the selection with an inclusive approach.
We look forward to your application!
