How do we balance the need for raw materials with land use, biodiversity, and local acceptance?
“Metallparadoxen” is a 2-day design sprint facilitated by RISE and funded through Swedish Mining Innovation, we explore the tensions in the green transition using design thinking. This is not a conference – it’s a hands-on training and collaborative learning experience.
Participants will:
✔️ Work practically with methods to tackle complex societal challenges
✔️ Gain new tools for creative problem exploration
✔️ Engage with people from inside and outside of the mining and metals sector
💬 No previous experience is needed – and the more diverse the group, the better the outcome. We welcome participants from all backgrounds who are curious about sustainability, innovation and transformation.
